In 1988, Mr. Naresh Kapoor, a pioneering entrepreneur, took a bold step by leaving his family’s water plant business to chase his culinary dreams. He started with a humble ice cream cart, ‘Gola 31’, offering 31 unique flavours. After the success of Gola 31, Mr Kapoor ventured into the banqueting industry, where he introduced novel concepts such as “food on the go” and “theme-based parties”. His innovative approach and attention to detail made him a sought-after caterer in Delhi.
In 1992, Mr. Kapoor opened Gola Sizzlers, Delhi’s first sizzlers restaurant, marking the beginning of a remarkable journey. As the first person to introduce sizzlers in Delhi, Mr Kapoor revolutionized the food industry with his innovative approach. Gola Sizzlers quickly became a beloved destination for food enthusiasts. His sons, Rajat Kapoor and Manik Kapoor, joined the business and expanded the brand.
Today, Gola Sizzlers proudly boasts a rich legacy of over three decades, built on innovation, quality, and a passion for food.
